We celebrate the region with our Gisborne Chardonnay. A full bodied, rich style of Chardonnay which is classic of the Gisborne region. This wine displays fruit driven aromas of apricot and melon, a textural palate balanced with buttery notes, and rounded off with toasty oak characteristics. The Last Shepherd Chardonnay is a great food wine and is ideally matched to Seafood, poultry and lighter game dishes particularly where an element of creaminess, is included in the dish. With its concentrated fruit and balanced acidity, this wine is drinking well now and up to 2-3 years from vintage.
